I am from birth in Durango Colorado, one of my favorite towns

I am from the small town of Aztec where I have lived my whole life

I am from soccer as a little guy to football by fourth grade

I am from loving sports and dreaming of what can happen as I grow older

I am from playing soccer, basketball, baseball, wrestling, track and my favorite football

I am from finally being on an undefeated football team

I am from continuing my love for sports into high school

I am from being a Christian and never losing my love for the lord

I am from being ready to graduate and wondering where I will go to college

I am from wanting to leave and never come back

I am from being in the state championship game in football and going to state in track

I am from finally leaving to go to college in Las Cruces in hope of someday teaching P.E. and coaching football

I am from being homesick and coming back to continue my education and coach track and football

I am from having dreams of playing football at Fort Lewis

I am from realizing that I had lost my desire to play football

I am from trying to let go of football but playing for the Rough Necks

I am from finding a new sport, golf, and loving every minute of it (even though I’m not any good)

I am from enjoying the 5 years that I have spent with my girlfriend

I am from a new man in my life (my girlfriend’s puppy Buddy)

I am from growing up looking up to my brother and it still hasn’t changed

I am from doing my best to finish school and start my career

I am from looking forward to where I will be from in the future
